Description

The approach used to quantify environmental transfer processes when conducting radiological impact assessments is similar for humans via the human food chain, and for other organisms, here termed wildlife. Concentration ratio (CRwo-media) and distribution coefficient (Kd) are radioecological parameters often used to quantify the transfer between a number of different compartments in the environment. The focus of the work undertaken by Working Group 4 is on radiological impact assessments for wildlife.
