Asymptotic behavior of form factors in vector field theories
Description
The asymptotic behavior of field theories containing vector fields is studied. Combining the conventional light cone and renormalization group analysis of inelastic scattering and positivity, upper bounds on elastic form factors are found. In the leading logarithmic approximation these inequalities become equalities which give rise to exp(-cln2 q2) behavior in both abelian and nonabelian theories
