Description

A neutron monitor has been developed which can actively measure dose spikes with dose rates in the order of several thousand S vh-1. Measurement results of the monitor in calibration fields with neutrons and photons are shown as well as calculations of the response with MCNPX and results of the first measurements in a pulsed field produced at the PSI high-energy accelerator
