Description
A method of calculating three-dimensional distribution of root-mean-square of temperature fluctuations in fast reactor fuel assemblies with local blockages has been developed. The subchannel-averaged RMS values of steady state temperature fluctuations are calculated by solving an equation obtained from energy balance. Based on the method a computer code SALOB has been made. The SALOB code has been used to analyse the out-of-pile experiments carried out at PNC Oarai Engineering Center, and the results have been compared with the experimental data. (author)
