Description
IMRT (Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy)/VMAT (Volumetric Modulated Radiotherapy) is a complex process which requires a proper QA programme in place in order to ensure a accurate tumoricidal dose delivery. The accuracy of dose delivery must be documented for each course of treatment by irradiating a phantom that contains array of detectors to sample the dose distribution and to verify that the dose delivered is the dose planned
