On correlation of temperature peculiarities of electron heat capacity and thermal conduction of transition metals in the high temperature range
Description
The temperature dependence of transition metals electron heat capacity at high temperatures is analyzed. The orders of values responsible for its deviation from linearity are estimated. A ratio between logarhythmic temperature derivatives of the electron heat capacity and that of electron heat conduction is derived and its dependence on the curve from of the density of electron states is discussed. The results are compared to experimental and calculated data for tungsten, tantalum and vanadium
