Description
The authors review the current situation for the supply of nuclear fuel and point out that the supply can be regarded as guaranteed in the long term, a claim which can scarcely be maintained for other energy carriers. They proceed to describe present-day factors which influence the Uranium market. Their comments take into consideration the fact that nuclear energy forms are an integral component of the electricity supply systems for many industrial nations. (orig.)

Die Verfasser stellen die derzeitige Situation der Kernbrennstoffversorgung dar und weisen darauf hin, dass diese - wie bei kaum einem anderen Energietraeger - langfristig als gesichert angesehen werden kann. Sie zeigen u. a. die Faktoren auf, die heute den Uranmarkt beeinflussen. Dabei wird beruecksichtigt, dass die Kernenergie fester Bestandteil der Elektrizitaetsversorgungssysteme vieler Industrielaender ist. (orig.)Additional details
