Description

It is of great significance to study aerosol behavior in containment under severe accident conditions. In the late stage of severe accidents, the deposited aerosol particles may be re-entrained into the atmosphere space in the form of droplets due to pool boiling or steam flash, which will affect the source term released into the environment. This paper discusses the concept, research background and current research status of re-entrainment, with emphasis on different models of re-entrainment, aiming to provide relevant nuclear power science and technology information for the domestic nuclear industry, and to promote further research on aerosol reentrainment effect in China and propose more comprehensive and reasonable models.
