Description

Effect of initial modulation of the beam on its relaxation in a strongly dissipative plasma (v >> γ) is considered. It is shown that initial modulation moderates the beam transition into the choatic regime of relaxation. It results in the fact that even in strongly dissipative plasma the collisionless relaxation of the beam can be carried out
