Description
Plausible phenomenological consequences of a particular 3-3-1 model (Pisano-Pleitez-Frampton (PPF) model based on the gauge group SU(3)c (x)SU(3)L (x)U(i)Y). are analyzed by using the algebraic approach for gauge models with high symmetries. We prove that a suitable parametrisation in the Higgs sector and a redefinition of the three scalar triplets involved therein can lead to flexible and realistic predictions for the neutrino mass spectrum, while a minimal number of coupling parameters are employed in the Yukawa sector. The whole Standard Model phenomenology is recovered. (authors)
