The hacettepe university radiocarbon laboratory and chronological prospection of the archeological sites in Turkey

Anatolia is one of the richest olaces as far as historical remains are concerned. From the chronological point of view the age determination of these findings is very important. Therefore various samples obtained from excavation areas were dated using the radiocarbon dating technique, and the results together with others' were evaluated in order to obtain a true chronology
