Deuterium state and probability of the cold nuclear fusion in solid

Description
Calculations of deuteron potential and probability of the cold nuclear fusion of deuterium in TiD2 compound and its alloys with the 3d-period elements were conducted. Influence of diffusion fluxes on reaction velocity was considered in the zone model of deuteron gas. It is shown that solid state decreases sufficiently the Coulomb barriers of nuclear reaction as compared to deuteron gas. However, in the solid it is conditioned by the presence of physical processes and fields, forming nonequilibrium state of deuteron subsystem. 32 refs., 1 tab
