LUNGE THORAX - Pulmonary noules. Quantitative CT analysis supports risk prediction
Creators
Description
More frequent chest CT and reduced slice thicknesses favour the increasing incidence of small pulmonary lesions found on screening or incidentally. The validated Mayo Clinic and Brock models estimate the probability of malignancy. For improved significance, Peters et al. compared quantitative parameters of chest CT in benign and malignant lesions. The study group analyzed the total lung parenchyma and the affected lung lobe.
Abstract (German)
(© Thieme. All rights reserved)Additional details
