Ammine borane: synthesis and physicochemical characterization

Description

Ammine borane samples were synthesized in two ways and purified to a high-purity grade through multiple recrystallization from isopropanol. New data were obtained on the fundamental properties of ammine borane, namely, its melting temperature, thermal and hydrolytic resistance, and solubility in various solvents. The liquid-solid equilibria of the ammine borane-water system were studied. The main stages of the thermal destruction of ammine borane were studied. The pyrolysis products were identified

Образцы амминборана синтезированы двумя способами и очищены до высокой степени чистоты путем многократной перекристаллизации из изопропилового спирта. Получены новые данные по его основным свойствам: температуре плавления, термической и гидролитической устойчивости, растворимости в различных растворителях. Исследована плавкость системы амминборан-вода. Изучены основные стадии термической деструкции амминборана и определен состав продуктов термолиза
