Steam generator replacement in Sendai Nuclear Power Station Unit 2

Description
In Sendai Nuclear Power Station Unit 2 of Kyushu Electric Power Co., Inc., flow-induced vibration of steam generator resulted in tube wear at support location of anti-vibration bars in the past. But steam generator integrity has been ensured thanks to established repair solutions. Integrity of steam generator can be ensured further on by continuing periodic inspection and maintenance; however for decreasing dose exposure during maintenance and ensuring long term reliability, Kyushu EPCO decided to replace steam generators of Sendai unit 2 as a part of preventive maintenance strategy.
