Transition radiation from a relativistic particle moving along a curve
Description
Review of various methods of calculating transition radiation (TR) is presented. TR production by a relativistic particle moving along a curved trajectory in random inhomogeneous medium is considered. Perturbation theory procedure applicable for calculations of plasma nonlinear current in case of arbitrary cirved movement of a particle is described. Drawbacks of medium field reaction method are discussed. Examples demonstrating the role of the particle trajectory curvature in different cases are considered
