Radiation exposure of personnel in the reactor facilities for testing and research and in the stage of research and development in fiscal 1981

The owners of reactor facilities are obligated by law to keep the radiation exposure dose of personnel below the permissible level. In fiscal 1981 (from April, 1981, to March, 1982), the exposure of personnel was far below this level. The distribution of exposure dose of personnel in the various facilities in the fiscal year is given, and that in each quarter is shown: Tokai Research Establishment and Oarai Research Establishment of Japan Atomic Energy Research Institute (JAERI), Oarai Engineering Center and Fugen (ATR) Power Station of Power Reactor and Nuclear Fuel Development Corporation (PNC), Research Reactor Institute in Kyoto University, etc. For Tokai and Oarai Research Establishments of JAERI and Oarai Engineering Center and Fugen Power Station of PNC with large reactor installations, exposure dose distribution, total exposure dose and average are given for the personnel of JAERI and PNC and other personnel, respectively, in the year and the quarters.
