Description
In order to assess the Evaluation Model (EM) for the reflood phase of the LOCA in a PWR with the cold leg injection type ECCS, a test was conducted with Cylindrical Core Test Facility which modeled a PWR in 1/21 volumetric scaling. By comparing the test results with the blindfold results predicted by EM code, the conservatism of EM model was discussed and some items were pointed out to be improved for better simulation. Furthermore new models were proposed for key items. (author)
