The half-life of 125I

  • 1. National Physical Lab., Teddington (UK). Div. of Radiation Science and Acoustics

Description

A recent examination of half-life data has revealed significant differences between published half-life values for 125I. The results of a further measurement are presented, giving a half-life of (59.416±0.010) d. All recent measurements are discussed and a recommended half-life of (59.402±0.014) d is derived. (orig.)
