Hydrogenation of unsaturated hydrocarbons in the presence of complexes produced by the interaction of transition-metal salts with aliphatic amines

Description
Homogeneous complexes the basis of interaction products of ruthenium salts and aliphatic amines have been synthesized and their catalytic properties in hydrogenation of nonsaturated hydrocarbons hexene- 1 and toluene under mild conditions have been studied. It is shown that when promoting ruthenium-containing catalysts by small amounts of palladium complex a synergic effect in reaction of toluene hydrogenation with the maximum activity for a complex containing 83%Ru and 17%Pd is observed. Heterogenization of homogeneous complexes on the surface of mineral carrier give rise to increase in activity and stability of the catalysts produced. Refs. 6, figs. 4
