Description
Advanced removal of uranyl ions from waste and mine waters represent a first hand necessity. For this purpose the method of emulsion liquid membrane (ELM) has been tested using three different carriers : Aliquat 336, tri-octylamine (TOA), and primary fatty amines. It was pointed out differences between tested carriers, the most efficient being primary fatty amines. (author)
