IR-luminescence damping in natural crystals KCl and NaCl dyed by X-rays

Description
The IR-luminescence damping in natural crystals KCl and NaCl is investigated. The dependence of the radiation intensity and the IR-radiation damping rate on bias lighting of dyed crystals by the visible monochromatic light is determined. It is shown that the de-excitation of X-ray leads to some amplification of the IR-radiation
