Experimental determination of tritium conversion ratios
Description
Results are presented for the determination of the build-up of tritium formed in lithium carbonate under irradiation with a californium neutron source. The spatial distribution of tritium accumulated in lithium carbonate was determined by both calculation and experiment. The tritium conversion ratio, calculated according to two-group theory with the first two collisions taken into account, is 0.35. 11 refs
