Description

Methods of PMR, Ir-spectroscopy, thermal and X-ray diffraction analyses, measurement of electric conductivity were used to study structural, thermal and electric properties of arsenates of the common formula MH2AsO4x0.2O (where M-K, Rb, Cs), prepared by interaction of arsenous acid solutions and corresponding carbonates. The obtained crystals belong to tetragonal syngony, for CsH2AsO4x0.2H2O a=7.9911 (11), b=7.9009 (15) A. Melting of compounds results to their dehydration. Compound electric conductivity decreases from potassium - to cesium-containing hihydroarsenates. Transformation to superionic state is clearly pronounced for CsH2AsO4. 4 refs., 4 figs., 3 tabs
