Description
Propagation of asymmetric surface waves in a plasma cylindrical waveguide is considered in nonlinear approximation. The plasma is supposed to be homogeneous with sharp boundaries. The wave attenuation is neglected and the problem is solved in a hydrodynamic approximation. The fields of waves and the velocity of plasma electrons are determined in first, second and third order approximation. Nonlinear dispersion equations are obtained. Under certain conditions the surface wave dispersion is shown to be determined by the nonlinearity of the plasma instead of its geometry
