Description
Through both static and dynamic experiments, the studies into migration and distribution of 90Sr, 134Cs and 60Co in rock core samples, taken from drill-hole at near field of LILW disposal site of Daya Bay Nuclear power Plant, were conducted. As shown by static experiments, adsorption ratios varied greatly with the nuclides for the same soil samples. This is an indicative of strong selective of nuclides onto geologic media. The adsorption equilibrium time for these three nuclides is 120 h. The average Kd values of samples are respectively 3.4 x 10, 2.3 x 103 and 1.3 x 102 mL/g for 90Sr, 134Cs and 60Co. In dynamic experiments, the Rd values are respectively are 7.4 x 102, 1.8 x 104 and 1.3 x 103, indicating faster migration rate of 90Sr than those of 134Cs and 60Co. (authors)
