Electrochemical deposition of molybdenum and tungsten carbides coatings using the electrode material (diamond) as a component of synthesis

Description
Electrolyte systems are selected on the basis of relevant molten salts and the conditions are optimized for electrochemical deposition of molybdenum and tungsten carbide coatings on diamonds while using the latter as components of the synthesis. The coatings formation is shown to proceed due to diamond carbon diffusion into metal coating deposited on the surface of diamond
