Fast Z-pinch plasma research and application prospect for fusion energy
Description
This paper summarized worldwide latest progresses in fast Z-pinch plasma research and the application prospect of fusion energy. The meaning of fast Z-pinch plasma research for high energy density physics and inertial confinement fusion was introduced, and the feasibility study for high-yield low-cost fusion energy technology was forecasted. Finally, possible technical challenges for fusion energy were primarily explored. (authors)
