Description

Simultaneous profiles measurements are reported upon obtained in the Lα, Lβ, MgII and CaII lines in a sunspot umbra and penumbra, performed with the laboratory's instrument on OSO 8. Although the statistic does not allow for a full time coverage in all lines, it is possible to analyze CaII H and K shifts and intensity variations, along with calibrated average profiles in other lines. Results are compared with other observations and predictions of the acoustic model. (author). 5 figs., 13 refs
