Particle and radiation shield

Description

A new shield is claimed for protection against gamma rays, fast or slow neutrons to be set in openings of containment shell and allowing a progressive pressure release in case of overpressure, especially in PWR type reactors. The screen is composed of a stack of spaced sheets of a material absorbing radiations or particles and yielding step by step in case of overpressure
