Variable stars in the x-ray globular cluster NGC 1851

Ten known and four new variable stars in the X-ray globular cluster NGC 1851 have been studied. None of these variables show obvious unusual characteristics that would make them candidates for the X-ray emission. The characteristics of the variable stars are presented
