Use of an approximate single folding potential for describing elastic 6Li ion scattering
Description
Approximate analytic expressions are obtained for a single folding potential which are used to describe elastic 6Li ion scattering by different nuclei at the energy 90 MeV and also 6Li ion scattering by the 12C nucleus in the energy range 4.5--156 MeV. The calculations show that on the basis of this approximation one can satisfactorily describe elastic 6Li ion scattering in a broad energy range without introducing an energy dependence of the parameters and that apparently the potential obtained satisfactorily describes the surface nucleus-nucleus interaction
