Using the gas-transport method monocrystals of mixed selenides of uranium and rare earths of the composition Lnsub(0.5)Usub(0.5)Sesub(2) (Ln = Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Yb, Y) are prepared. X-ray study is conducted. Compounds Lnsub(0.5)Usub(0.5)Sesub(2) are crystallized in rhombic crystal system. Spatial group is p2sub(1)ca. Crystal lattice parameters are measured
