Description
Alternative Direction Implicit (ADI) method is a traditional approach to solve diffusion problems. But it's not a good method for solving neutron diffusion equations in real-time simulation. To conquer this, an improved ADI method is introduced in this paper. Its accuracy is tested by its application to the core physics real-time simulation for Qinshan NPP. With online correction technology, this method can be used in the core physics real-time simulation for the reactor whole life stage. (authors)
