Description

The paper describes radionuclide impurities (γ-emitters and 3H) in proton irradiated 18O enriched water from an Nb target vessel with Nb entrance window, their distribution in different synthesis steps and finally in the PET radiopharmaceuticals [18F]Fluoride and [18F]FDG. - Highlights: • Radionuclidic impurities (γ-emitters and 3H) were measured in 18F radiopharmaceuticals. • The radionuclides of interest depend mainly on the target type. • Data from a Nb target vessel with Nb entrance window were presented. • The radionuclidic purity can be fulfilled better than required
