Radiointerferometric observations of the radio galaxy 3C 123 in decametric wavelength range

Description

The results of observations of the radio source 3C 123, obtained at frequencies 16.7, 20 and 25 MHz with the aid of the broadband decametric radiointerferometer URAN-1 are presented. The interferometer has baseline 42 km oriented in the eastwest direction. The analysis of the available radio interferometrical observations performed in the frequency range 16.7-1425 MHz permit to estimate the effective angular dimension of the source (assuming the Gaussian brightness distribution) which at 50% total intensity level turned to be frequency independent and equal to 23''
