Description
In this talk we report on recent results obtained with the Extended-Soft-Core (ESC) interactions, where soft two-meson-exchange is taken into account, both uncorrelated and correlated. The most recent soft-core One-Boson-Exchange (OBE) models NSC97 [2, 3] have been reviewed in [4, 5]. We report on new results for the ESC-model for nucleon-nucleon (NN), hyperon-nucleon (YN), and hyperon-hyperon (YY). With this ESC-model, henceforth referred to ESC99, we succeeded in narrowing the gap between theory and experiment at low energies for NN considerably. For the energies Tlab = 0 - 350 MeV we reached a record low Xp.d.p.2 = 1.15, using the Nijmegen PWA. This NN-model allows a clearcut extension to YN and YY, in clear distinction to more phenomenological models. In this conference, we report for the first time on a successful ESC-description of the YN-scattering data. Several features of the OBE-models are improved with ESC. (author)
