Mathematical modeling and optimization of radiotherapy of tumors
Creators
Description
Questions related to mathematical modeling in clinical radiobiology and optimization of control processes in tumor radiotherapy are considered. To estimate radiotherapy maximum possibilities, integral permissible dose concept is developed. Treatment step-by-step and multiple-step optimization algorithms are applied. A number of problems, related to radiotherapy optimization using modifiers of radiosensitivity, irradiation of corpuscular nature, dose fractioning model, are solved. Radiotherapy automation, results of new treatment scheme introduction into clinical practice are described
