Digital neutron moisture gage for measuring sands, aggregates and other building materials
Description
A brief description is given of the design and operation of a digital neutron moisture gage for measuring the moisture contents of sands, aggregates and other building materials. The flow diagram is shown of the digital processing of the radiometric signal suitable for any calibration dependences of a linear shape with an initial value. The said instrument allows measuring building material moisture content within one minute with an error not exceeding 0.5% of absolute moisture content. (B.S.)
