On the effect of an inhomogeneous magnetic field on nonlinear electron-cyclotron heating in a tokamak reactor

Description
Non-linear cyclotron absorption of wide-aperture microwave beams in a large-scale tokamak reactor is investigated. It is shown that in this case magnetic field inhomogeneity may substantially determine the nonlinear absorption mode. 15 refs., 3 figs
