Emission computerized tomography in the diagnosis of focal hepatic lesions

Description
Diagnostic potentialities of emisson computerized tomography (ECT), computerized tomography (CT) and polyposition scintigraphy (PS) were established by the results of a comprehensive study of the liver in 105 cancer patients with 246 metastatic tumors. In the foci with a diameter less than 20 mm ECT and PS were ineffective, in 20-40 mm ECT and CT potentialites were approximately the same and 50% of detection was noted with PS; in 40 mm and over the diagnostic potentialities of the above 3 methods were equal
