Description
Enthalpy of Gd5Si3, Gd5Si4, GdSi, GdSi1.88 silicides is measured for the first time within 300-2230 K temperature interval using the mixing method. Melting temperatures, enthalpies and entropies of the silicides in question (are determined) as well as of disilicide polymorphous transformation. Enthalpy temperature dependence equations are derived and recommended for practical application based on experimental data. 17 refs.; 2 figs.; 4 tabs
