Program ALLCUT2 and its application in assessing reliability of complex systems in nuclear power plants
Description
The ALLCUT2 computer program is discussed which evaluates the probability of fail-safe operation of complex system; the program uses quantitative and qualitative analysis of failure trees by the analytical method of minimum critical cuts. The analytical method is briefly described and for two failure trees a comparison is made of results obtained using the ALLCUT2 program with values obtained by programs PREP-KITT, SAFEDO2, ALLCUT1 and by manual analytical evaluation.
