Current status of detection methods of irradiated foods and recent information

Description
Recent situation and the state of food irradiation to maintain the quality of foods, by preventing health hazards due to pathogenic bacteria, the prevention of epidemics system for disease-causing bacteria are provided. For each items of food, limited radiation doses are given for relevant country while they are different depending on an exporting or importing country. (S. Ohno)
