Description

Controlled potential coulometry (CPS) is one of the most reliable methods for the determination of uranium particulary for the product streams of different parts in nuclear fuel cycle where high accuracy and precision are required. Throughout this work emphasis was placed on establishing experimental conditions such that the coulometric reduction of U(VI) to U(IV) of a platinum working electrode should proceed rapidly and quantitatively so that overall time for the determination might be reduced to minimum
