Emission from a dense thermal hydrogen plasma
Description
The results of an experimental study of the emissivity of hydrogen at temperatures of 9000--17,500 0K and pressures of 0.4--9 MPa over wavelengths of 350--550 nm are presented. The experimental data provide a picture of the transition from the discrete spectrum of hydrogen to a continuum at electron densities above 2 x 1017 cm-3
