Microscopic calculation for the 02+ of 4He
Description
The T = 02+ state of helium-4 is considered in a proposed three-body--one-body cluster model for this state. Also calculated is the 3H + p and 3He + n coupled-channel scattering matrix. The monopole matrix element and the inelastic-electron scattering form factors are found, and the phase shift is plotted. It is found that the (3 + 1)-cluster model accounts for the 02+ of 4He and can reproduce many experimental values fairly well. 8 references
