Production and structure of light Σ hypernuclei
Description
Recent developments on experimental and theoretical studies on light Σ hypernuclei are presented. The 4He(K-, π-) experiment by the Tokyo group, aiming at the search for the Σ hypernuclear ground state, has shown the existence of a peak in the Σ bound region. Comparisons of this results with various theoretical expectations are made, and implications of existing bubble chamber data on the interpretation of the present results are discussed. (orig.)
