Observation of the π-A → 2π+π-mγA*

Description
The π-A → 2π+π-mγA */m=0,1,2.../ reaction on the light nuclei (C, F and Cl) has been studied. The primary momentum equals 3,9 GeV/c. It is shown that the production of the 2π+2π-mπ0 system with the negative meson absorption by the nucleus makes the main contribution. The Δ- isobar absorption process has not been observed. The topological cross sections and the dominant mechanism cross section have been established
