Description

Cathodoluminescence of CdTe implanted with 100 KeV silver ions has been studied. After annealing treatments fifteen luminescence bands have been observed. One of these which appears at 4.2 K at 1.574 eV can be satisfactorily explained in terms of donor-acceptor model. The other bands which appear at 1.585 eV, 1.584 eV, 1.580 eV, 1.563 eV, 1.559 eV, 1.554 eV, 1.550 eV and 1.509 eV respectively, be explained in terms of acceptor (complex). The emissions at 1.543 eV, 1.541 eV, 1.533 eV, 1.528 eV, 1.521 eV and 1.517 eV are the phonon lines of the complex emissions. (author)
